Convert Webstore to Android App

I have an existing e-commerce website and I’m ready to offer the same shopping experience on Android. For this first release I need a straightforward, stable app that focuses on showcasing my products. Core scope • Pull my current product catalog from the site and display it natively in the app. • Implement basic search and keyword search so shoppers can quickly find items. • Keep navigation clean and mobile-friendly, matching my site’s branding. • Deliver an installable APK plus complete, well-commented source code (Android Studio – Kotlin or Java). Nice-to-haves down the road—such as user authentication, payments, or category filters—can be structured for future expansion, but they are not part of this milestone. Compatibility & performance • Target Android 8.0 (API 26) and above. • Follow Google Play guidelines so I can publish without rework. • Ensure smooth loading and responsive layout on both phones and tablets. Hand-over expectations 1. Compilable project with README explaining build steps. 2. Brief guide on how the app pulls product data (e.g., REST endpoints or JSON feed) so I can maintain it. 3. One revision cycle for bug fixes discovered during my initial test on real devices.
