RFQ – Custom PrestaShop 9.x Multi-Vendor Marketplace We are seeking an experienced PrestaShop developer or development team to build a custom B2B/B2C multi-vendor marketplace from a clean PrestaShop 9.x installation. All marketplace-specific functionality must be developed as proprietary custom modules, without existing third-party multi-vendor modules or PrestaShop core modifications. Project Scope * 1–30 independent vendors (2–3 at launch). * Initial catalog of 2,000–4,000 product references, scalable. * B2B and B2C customers. * Unified master catalog with multiple vendor offers per SKU. * No minimum order value. * Vendors independently handle sales, invoicing, fulfillment and shipping. * Marketplace commission rates configurable per individual vendor. * Single responsive storefront with simplified UX. Required Custom Modules 1. Vendor Management Role-based vendor dashboards for managing offers, pricing, inventory, orders, shipments and commercial data. 2. Standardized CSV Import/Export & Synchronization Automated vendor catalog imports using a unified CSV schema (SKU, EAN, brand, title, description, price, discount, images, inventory, etc.). Scheduled synchronization, order exports and status updates. 3. Master Product Catalog & Matching Engine Centralized product catalog with automated matching of identical references across vendors, multiple offers per product and exception handling for ambiguous matches. 4. Dynamic Price Comparison Engine Automated price comparison for identical SKUs, considering discounts, availability and delivery eligibility. 5. Smart Cart Optimization Engine Custom algorithm to identify the lowest total checkout cost, including shipping, across multiple vendors. The engine must evaluate product allocation across vendors, shipping costs, free/reduced shipping thresholds and potential order consolidation, without substituting different product references. 6. Multi-Vendor Shipping & Checkout Unified cart and checkout, vendor-specific shipping calculations, configurable shipping thresholds, automatic order splitting and independent fulfillment tracking. 7. Vendor-Specific Commission Management Individually configurable commission rates per vendor, automated calculations, adjustments, settlement reports and financial reconciliation. 8. Vendor Dashboard & Business Analytics Private dashboards displaying sales, GMV, orders, best-selling products, commissions, historical trends and competitive price positioning for identical SKUs. 9. Central Administration & Advanced Analytics Centralized administrative dashboard with aggregate and vendor-level reporting on GMV, revenue, commissions, orders, customers, products, conversions, performance metrics and exportable reports. Full control over vendor accounts, commission rates and commercial conditions. 10. Dynamic Categories & Thematic Collections Custom category management and cross-category thematic collections (Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Carnival, All Saints’ Day, Breakfast, Aperitivo, etc.), including scheduled activation and deactivation. Technical Requirements * Stable PrestaShop 9.x release. * Modular, scalable architecture. * Separate master product and vendor offer data models. * Asynchronous CSV processing and scheduled synchronization. * Documented internal APIs for future integrations. * Responsive, user-friendly storefront. * Security, logging, automated testing and technical documentation. * No PrestaShop core modifications. Quotation Requirements Please provide an itemized quotation per module, including estimated development hours, hourly rates, delivery milestones, technical architecture, maintenance costs and source code ownership terms. Separate the initial MVP scope from the infrastructure and development requirements needed to scale to 30 vendors.
