Android Control App for ESP32

I’m looking for a clean, lightweight Android application whose sole purpose right now is to control my ESP32-based hardware. The interaction must be through on-screen buttons only—no sliders or voice commands at this stage. Tapping a button on the phone should send an immediate command to the ESP32 so the device reacts with minimal latency. I already have the firmware running on the board; what I need from you is the Android side: screen layout, reliable connection logic, and simple feedback to confirm each command was sent. I’m open to whichever transport layer you feel is most robust with the ESP32 (classic Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi sockets, HTTP requests, etc.); just outline your choice and why. Data monitoring and alert notifications aren’t required now but I’d like the architecture to leave room for them later.
