AI-Powered Tax Planning Platform Development

We are a U.S.-based tax advisory and accounting firm looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help us build an AI-powered Tax Planning SaaS platform. The platform will initially be used internally by our tax advisory firm. After testing and validation, our goal is to commercialize it and offer it to CPAs, Enrolled Agents, tax professionals, and accounting firms throughout the United States. What We Want to Build The first version (MVP) should allow tax professionals to: Create and manage individual and business clients Upload tax returns, including 1040, 1120-S, 1065, 1120, W-2s and K-1s Upload P&Ls, Balance Sheets and other financial documents Use AI/document extraction to automatically capture relevant tax and financial information Convert uploaded documents into structured client data Analyze the client's tax situation Run the information through a Tax Strategy Engine Identify potential tax-planning strategies for professional review Calculate estimated tax savings and compare scenarios Show eligibility requirements and implementation requirements Allow tax professionals to approve, reject or modify recommendations Generate professional, branded tax-planning reports Generate implementation checklists Track strategies through implementation Maintain notes, documents and an audit history AI + Tax Calculation Architecture We do not want the LLM to perform critical tax calculations by itself.
