Voice Actor / Narrator

We're looking for voice actors and narrators for ongoing conversational recording work. You bring the voice and a good microphone. We supply the scripts.

About the role

You'll record scripted dialogue in sessions, across a wide range of subjects. You don't need to be the subject matter expert. The read is conversational rather than commercial. Clear, steady and natural, without the announcer cadence. We're not cloning your voice and we're not training on it.

What you'll do

Session recording Work through the supplied scripts as written. The material changes from session to session. Consistent delivery Keep your setup and your read consistent across sessions. Direction and retakes Take direction on delivery, pacing and tone, and turn retakes around within the session.

Requirements

Delivery A natural conversational read, not a commercial or announcer read. Experience Professional or semi-professional voice acting, narration, dubbing, podcasting or broadcast work. Microphone A real microphone, not a laptop, phone or earbuds. Room A quiet space you can record in every session. Availability 25 hours per week. Language English (American). Device security Work happens on a secure personal device.

Nice to have

Not required. Worth mentioning if it applies to you. - Improv, roleplay or scene work. - Experience in support, teaching or tutoring. - Dialogue and two-person scenes rather than only single-voice narration. - You can give several different reads of the same line without being told how. Contract and payment You're engaged as an independent contractor for the length of the campaign. Fully remote, from any location, working in English. The fee is agreed before you start. We pay you directly, not through an agency. Campaigns can be extended, shortened or ended early depending on need and performance.
