To support this growth, we’re looking for an IT & Projects Manager to lead our IT Projects team, own our internal IT platforms and drive the projects that will help Pennylane scale successfully. Reporting to the IT Team Lead , you’ll play a key role in continuously improving our internal IT environment and delivering a great employee experience across the company. How will you contribute? You’ll lead the IT Projects team and be responsible for the evolution of Pennylane’s internal IT environment. Your role combines people management, internal platform ownership, cross-functional project management and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with the IT Support, Security Compliance, Application Security and Finance Security teams to ensure a reliable, secure and scalable IT environment for everyone at Pennylane. What will you do? Management & Leadership You’ll manage the IT Projects team and help them grow. Your responsibilities include: Prioritizing the team’s roadmap and initiatives. Coaching and developing team members. Defining quality standards and best practices. Ensuring successful project delivery. Building a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. IT Platforms & Internal Tools You’ll own the administration, security and evolution of our internal IT platforms. You’ll work on: Google Workspace Okta Jamf Cloudflare Zero Trust Slack Notion Identity & Access Management (SSO / SCIM) SaaS lifecycle management Your goal is to keep our IT environment reliable, secure and ready to support Pennylane’s growth. IT Projects & Operational Excellence You’ll lead the team’s main continuous improvement initiatives. This includes: Leading cross-functional IT projects. Automating repetitive tasks. Standardizing processes. Improving internal documentation. Optimizing workflows and existing tools. Finding new ways to improve the employee experience. Security & Compliance Working alongside our Security teams, you’ll help maintain a high level of security and compliance. You’ll contribute to: Applying ISO 27001 and DORA standards. Identity & Access Management (IAM). Access reviews. Internal audits. Continuous improvement of security practices. AI & Continuous Improvement Artificial Intelligence is one of the topics owned by the IT team. You’ll help identify valuable AI use cases, support the deployment of approved AI tools and encourage responsible AI adoption across the company. Who are we looking for? Experience Proven experience as an IT Lead/IT Project Manager, or similar role in a fast-growing SaaS or tech environment. Experience managing operational IT projects and cross-functional initiatives. Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams is a strong plus. Technical skills Strong hands-on experience with SaaS administration tools such as Google Workspace , Jamf , Slack , Notion , Okta , and Cloudflare Zero Trust . Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, including SSO and SCIM . Comfortable working in Apple/macOS environments. Good understanding of IT security, access governance, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2 . Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, automation workflows, and enterprise AI adoption practices. Scripting and automation skills (Bash/Zsh, Python) are considered a strong plus. Mindset & soft skills Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive topics end-to-end. Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach balancing security, scalability, and user experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Rigorous approach to documentation, operational quality, and continuous improvement. Strong prioritization and organizational skills in fast-moving environments. Languages Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
