Excel Form Automation via SQL

I have an existing Excel workbook that currently relies on manual submissions. All the figures we need already live in a SQL Server database; they simply have to appear in the correct cells of the form and then trigger the usual calculations and formatting the sheet already performs. Here is what I need from you: connect Excel to SQL Server, pull the required numeric fields, map them to the form’s input range, and set the process to refresh on demand (button or scheduled refresh—whichever is cleaner). The workbook must stay fully functional for colleagues who are not technical, so the solution should run with a single click and require no additional installs beyond standard Office components. VBA, Power Query, or a lightweight Add-in are all acceptable, provided they are reliable and easy to maintain. Please preserve the existing formulas, protect the layout, and add any error-handling that prevents blank or partially-filled submissions. Once finished, hand over the updated workbook and a brief setup note so I can deploy it on other machines that connect to the same SQL Server instance.
