职位介绍

I already have a nearly-finished frontend for our new inventory dashboard and now need the entire backend built in Django. Your main job is to craft a clean REST API (Django REST Framework is fine) that plugs straight into the existing UI and stores everything in PostgreSQL―that is the database we run company-wide, so please architect around it. Core workflow • Real-time stock tracking: every product movement must be reflected immediately across the API so the Vue/React screens (you’ll see the repo) stay in sync without manual refreshes. • User roles & permissions: admins can manage all data, warehouse staff update counts only, and accounting gets read-only access. Use Django’s auth system or a proven extension; the rules just need to be easy for us to manage later in the admin. • Third-party hooks: orders ship via several carriers, so the app needs to hit common shipping provider APIs (think label creation & tracking updates). We also take payments for certain value-added services, so Stripe or a similar gateway must be wired in. I can supply keys and sandbox accounts. Preferred stack & expectations PostgreSQL 14+, Django 4.x, Django REST Framework, Docker for local dev, and GitHub Actions for CI. If you have a better tooling idea, I’m open, but the database choice is non-negotiable. Deliverables (acceptance criteria) - Dockerised Django project with environment variables for all secrets - Fully documented REST endpoints covering products, locations, stock movements, users & permission groups - Integration modules for at least one major shipping provider and one payment gateway, with clear extension points for others - Unit tests (>90 % coverage) and a Postman/Swagger collection so my QA team can verify quickly - Simple deployment script (Ansible, Fabric or bash) that pushes to our Ubuntu server and runs migrations Timeline is flexible within reason, but I’d like an MVP deployed to staging in about four weeks. Let me know your relevant Django projects, any questions about the workflow, and when you could start.
