Automotive SAP SD ECC Optimization

Our automotive operation runs on SAP ECC and the SD module now needs a focused overhaul. The scope centers on two areas: • Core sales flow – tighten the entire cycle of customer orders, pricing logic, and delivery scheduling so the data seen by Sales, Production, and Logistics is always in sync. • Automotive-specific flows – configure scheduling agreements and supplier releases that reflect how our tier-1 customers transmit demand. To make the setup truly production-ready, the solution must also handle: • EDI messages for incoming orders, delivery schedules, and shipment confirmations, using the standard IDoc types where possible and custom segments only when justified. • Customer-specific pricing, rebates, and payment terms that can be maintained centrally yet called automatically in every transaction. Deliverables 1. Transportable SAP SD configuration covering the above processes in ECC. 2. Mapping documents for each EDI message with testing evidence. 3. Functional specs for any required user exits, BADIs, or custom reports. 4. A brief hand-over guide so my internal team can support and extend the setup. The work will be considered complete once a set of live test cycles—order creation through to delivery PGI and invoice—runs without errors and matches customer ASN, pricing, and rebate expectations.
