Project Overview I already have the 4 different visiting card designs. What I need now is someone who understands print production and can turn these AI-generated images into files that are genuinely ready for professional printing. This is not a graphic design project from scratch. The creative direction and visual design are already in place. The challenge is to prepare the existing artwork properly, maintain its original look, and ensure the final output meets printing standards. Simply converting an image into a PDF and calling it print-ready will not be enough. What Needs to Be Done - Convert the supplied AI-generated visiting card designs into print-ready artwork. - Prepare the front and back as separate files. - Preserve the original layout, colours, typography, logo placement, and overall design. - Fix any visible image-quality issues that could affect the printed result. - Ensure text, logos, and important design elements remain sharp and properly aligned. - Set up the correct dimensions, bleed, and safe margins. - Export the final files in formats suitable for professional printing. If the supplied images have limitations that prevent a clean print, I expect you to identify them and explain how you would address them before proceeding. I don't want avoidable surprises after the files reach the printer. Technical Specifications - Final card size: 8.5 cm × 5.4 cm - Resolution: 300 DPI at the final print size - Colour mode: CMYK - Bleed: 3 mm on all sides, unless the printer specifies otherwise - Safe margin: Keep critical text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim edge - Artwork: Separate front and back files - Final delivery: Print-ready PDF files - Additional deliverables: High-resolution PNG or TIFF files and editable source files, where feasible Please account for the bleed when setting up the artwork. The finished card dimensions and the dimensions of the file including bleed are not the same thing. This is basic prepress work, but getting it wrong can waste an entire print run. Expected Deliverables 1. Print-ready PDF for the front of the card. 2. Print-ready PDF for the back of the card. 3. High-resolution exports of both sides. 4. Editable source files, where feasible. 5. Final checks for dimensions, resolution, colour mode, bleed, alignment, and print quality. Who Should Apply? I'm looking for someone with practical experience in print design and prepress preparation, not just someone familiar with image editing. You should be comfortable working with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent professional tools. More importantly, you should understand the difference between an image that looks good on a screen and artwork that will reproduce properly in print. Before You Apply Please share one or two examples of visiting cards or similar print materials you have prepared for actual printing. Also, briefly explain how you would handle a flattened AI-generated image if some text or logo elements need improvement to achieve a clean, professional result. I value clear communication, attention to detail, and work that is correct the first time. If you spot a technical problem, flag it early rather than quietly working around it and leaving me to discover it later. The End Goal I want the existing design converted into clean, accurate, professional print-ready files without unnecessary redesign, changes to the creative direction, or repeated rounds of avoidable corrections. If you understand print production and can deliver files that a printer can use confidently, this should be a straightforward project.
