Recreational Motorboat Design

I'm seeking an experienced boat designer to create a recreational motorboat. Project Overview I am looking for an experienced naval architect / marine engineer / yacht designer to develop a complete design package for a custom approximately 55-foot luxury open-deck centre-console motor yacht. The overall design direction should be a modern, clean European-style day boat, taking inspiration from the proportions and styling philosophy of boats such as VanDutch and larger Chris-Craft models, while being an original design. The vessel will have a large open deck layout, centre-console configuration and relatively simple/basic interior accommodation. The priority is exterior styling, usable deck space, performance and a design that can realistically be fabricated in Australia. Propulsion Concept I would like to investigate using multiple outboard engines concealed beneath the aft deck, creating a clean stern/transom appearance when viewed externally. The designer/engineer will need to develop a practical solution for: * Engine installation and access * Ventilation and cooling requirements * Steering and controls * Exhaust and heat management * Fuel systems * Service and maintenance access * Structural requirements around the engine compartment * Appropriate clearance and water flow around the outboards I am open to engineering recommendations if modifications to this concept are required for safety, performance or practicality. Construction The intention is for the vessel to ultimately be CNC cut and fabricated in Australia. I therefore need someone who can take the project beyond concept drawings and produce accurate engineering and production-ready CAD files suitable for fabrication. The designer should preferably have experience with aluminium boat/yacht construction and CNC-cut structural components. Required Deliverables The completed project should ideally include: * Initial concept development and hull/design options * Exterior styling and general arrangement * Professional 3D CAD model of the complete vessel * High-quality 3D renders * 2D general arrangement drawings * Hull lines and offsets * Hull and superstructure design * Structural design and engineering * Frames, bulkheads, stringers and structural members * Deck and internal structural layouts * Propulsion/engine installation design * Fuel tank and major equipment locations * Weight and centre-of-gravity calculations * Basic stability and performance calculations * Material specifications and plate thicknesses * Welding/fabrication details where required * CNC nesting/cutting files for fabrication * DXF/DWG or equivalent production files * Bill of materials / cutting schedules * Complete fabrication drawing package The objective is to finish with a properly engineered digital boat design that can be provided to an Australian marine fabrication company for CNC cutting, fabrication and construction, rather than simply receiving attractive concept renders. Please provide examples of previous large powerboat, centre-console, aluminium yacht, naval architecture or CNC production projects you have completed. Please also explain which parts of the naval architecture, structural engineering and production drawings you can personally provide and which, if any, would require another engineer or specialist. I am interested in working collaboratively through the concept, design, engineering and production-documentation stages to develop this into a buildable 55-foot vessel.
