Filipino Book Layout & Design

I’m commissioning a fellow Filipino layout artist to handle both the cover and the full interior pages of my upcoming book. The look I’m after is unmistakably traditional—think classic typography, balanced margins, and timeless ornamentation—so your eye for detail and respect for print conventions will matter more than flashy trends. I will supply the edited manuscript, preliminary cover concept, and printer specifications. You’ll transform those into press-ready files in Adobe InDesign for the interiors and Adobe Photoshop for any cover imaging or final art touch-ups. CMYK colour management, correct bleeds, embedded fonts, and pagination must all be spot-on before hand-off. When you reply, please link to past book projects you have personally laid out or designed; seeing real pages or covers you’ve produced is the fastest way for me to gauge fit. A short note on how you typically organise styles, master pages, and export settings is welcome, but no need for a lengthy proposal. Deliverables (print-ready): • Front, spine, and back cover layered PSD and flattened PDF • Complete interior InDesign package with linked assets • High-resolution, printer-approved PDF for the full book If you can confidently deliver a polished, traditionally styled book from cover to last page, I’d love to work together.
