E-Book Storefront With Auto Delivery

I’m setting up a small online storefront that sells a single digital product—my ebook—and I want the entire purchase experience to feel effortless for the buyer and hands-free for me. Platform I’m open to whichever stack you feel is the best fit; WordPress with WooCommerce, Shopify, or even a clean custom build are all on the table. I care far more about reliability and low ongoing maintenance than about the name of the CMS. Key requirements • Secure user registration and login are a must so buyers can return and re-download their file at any time. • Checkout has to support credit / debit card payments (a Stripe integration is fine, but if you have another battle-tested gateway in mind I’m happy to hear it). • Immediately after a successful transaction the ebook PDF should be delivered automatically—either by instant download, a time-limited link, or an emailed copy. No manual fulfillment on my end. • A lightweight dashboard where I can upload future editions, see orders, and resend links if needed. Acceptance criteria 1. A test purchase flows from add-to-cart through card payment to automated file delivery without human intervention. 2. The ebook file is stored securely and can’t be accessed through a direct URL. 3. New user accounts receive verification emails and can reset their passwords. 4. All text and buttons are editable by me without touching code. Once this is in place I’ll handle copy, design tweaks, and marketing; I just need the functional backbone built cleanly and documented.
