Computer Vision Developer – Sports Player Tracking & XY Coordinates POC

I need an experienced computer vision developer for a small paid proof of concept for a multi-sport video analysis system. Using a short sample of ordinary broadcast field-sports footage and supplied team rosters, I need to test: • player and team detection • roster-assisted named-player identification • continuous player tracking / ReID • jersey number recognition where possible • field calibration / homography • real-world x/y coordinate output for players • ball detection/tracking where observable • timestamped CSV or JSON output The system must preserve UNKNOWN where player identity or position cannot be reliably established rather than forcing a result. This first job is ONLY a small technical feasibility POC, not a complete commercial application. The initial test will use recorded broadcast footage, but the architecture must be capable of later real-time/live-stream operation and should not be hard-coded to one sport. Please include examples of relevant sports tracking/computer vision work and your proposed technical approach. If successful, there is potential for further development work.
