I maintain several customer-facing web apps that ship new features almost every week. Every build reaches you first so that any usability snags are caught before users ever see them. Your top priority is spotting issues around error prevention and feedback—misleading messages, missing validations, confusing recovery paths—while also covering the usual functional and regression checks. Each cycle I’ll send: • an early-access URL or build • a short change log highlighting new or risky areas From there you dive in on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari for desktop, explore freely, and document everything in the tracker we already use (Jira). A good report means exact reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, plus annotated screenshots or a quick screen recording when visuals matter. After engineers land a fix, you rerun the scenario and mark it verified. Typical deliverables per release • Exploratory test notes • Consolidated bug list with severity tags • Retest confirmation sheet
