Modernise AI-Based Image Editing Platform

Build and Modernise a Scalable Web-Based AI Image Editing Platform We are seeking an experienced developer, multidisciplinary freelance team or software company to modernise our existing Python/Flask image-enhancement and editing platform and build a unified, responsive **Image Studio**. The engagement will include: * Consolidating existing image tools into a canvas-based Studio while retaining existing SEO landing pages. * Implementing agreed Phase 1 editing features, including enhancement, adjustments, crop and transform, background editing, effects, artistic styles, text and elements, frames, resize and export. * Building sequential, non-destructive editing with previews, history, undo/redo and before/after comparison. * Evaluating suitable APIs, libraries and AI models based on quality, processing time, licensing and cost. * Implementing user accounts, subscriptions, credits, usage limits and administration. * Modernising the architecture, deployment, security and processing workflow so the platform can scale reliably as usage grows. * Migrating the existing application and functionality without avoidable SEO or production disruption. **Expected technical direction** * Modular Python/Flask backend instead of extending the existing monolithic `app.py`. * Responsive frontend with Fabric.js or another justified canvas framework. * PostgreSQL for users, subscriptions, credits, jobs and audit records. * Redis-backed asynchronous processing using Celery or an equivalent. * Private object storage with secure, expiring downloads. * Reusable local-processing and external AI-provider wrappers. * Secure anonymous and authenticated sessions. * Rate limiting, quotas, upload validation, image sanitisation and abuse protection. * Testing, monitoring, backups, rollback and separate environment practices. * Cost-conscious architecture with a clear future scaling and high-availability path, without unnecessary overengineering. **Who should apply** Applicants should demonstrate relevant experience in image-processing applications, interactive canvas editors, Python/Flask, OpenCV/Pillow/ONNX, AI API integration, asynchronous workers, SaaS subscriptions and secure production deployment.
