职位介绍

I need a qualified residential fire-sprinkler designer to revise an existing NFPA 13D system for a new single-family house and ADU in San Diego County, California. The existing fire-sprinkler plans and hydraulic calculations were prepared using a 1-1/4″ supply pipe and the riser at the southeast corner. The project conditions have changed: The dedicated fire-sprinkler supply pipe will be 1″. The riser is being relocated to a new location shown on the architectural site plan. The new riser is approximately 89′ from the fire-sprinkler valve at the water meter. The site has approximately a 15′ elevation drop from the meter to the riser. The 1″ supply pipe will pass through the footing inside a 2″ PVC sleeve. The riser cabinet will be installed directly above the footing penetration. The proposed cabinet is approximately 14″ wide × 48″ high, located inside the crawl space with an exterior access door facing east. Required work: Review the existing fire-sprinkler plans, architectural plans and previous calculations. Redesign the supply and riser routing for the new riser location. Perform new NFPA 13D hydraulic calculations using the actual 1″ supply pipe, 89′ approximate run and 15′ elevation drop. Confirm whether the 1″ supply provides adequate flow and pressure. Do not assume that it is adequate. Revise Sheets F2R and F3R, including the floor plans, riser diagram, pipe sizes, routing, notes and calculations. Coordinate the fire-sprinkler plans with the latest architectural plans. Provide the revised PDF and editable AutoCAD/DWG source files. Include reasonable corrections required by San Diego County plan review. The final plans and calculations must be suitable for submission to San Diego County. Please state whether you personally hold a California C-16 Fire Protection Contractor license or a California professional engineering license. If another California-licensed professional will sign the plans, identify that person and include the signing/stamping cost in your bid. Please provide examples of residential NFPA 13D plans and hydraulic calculations previously completed for projects in California.
