Electronics and IT hardware sourcing agents based in Ho Chi Minh City need hands-on support to keep the supply chain running smoothly. It involves electronic components and parts, but also commissions full PCB and PCBA runs and occasionally complete devices through local OEM/ODM partners. Your local knowledge and factory relationships will be key to driving cost savings, shortening lead times, and protecting product quality. For every PCB or PCBA order, I will rely on you to: • find and compare suitable factories in or near HCMC, • negotiate prices, payment terms, and realistic MOQs, • check production quality on site when required and coordinate delivery to our freight forwarder. Beyond boards, you will screen and onboard new component suppliers, maintain day-to-day communication, track shipments, and escalate any red flags on quality or schedule. Clear English reporting via email or Slack is essential; I expect concise weekly updates and immediate notice of any issues that might impact project timelines. Please only bid if you speak Vietnamese fluently and are available to work legally in Vietnam. Chinese-speaking residents in Ho Chi Minh and the nearby area are also encouraged to apply. This is a part-time, long-term collaboration. Typical deliverables include vetted supplier shortlists with quotations, negotiation summaries, inspection photos or reports, and confirmed shipment details.
