A three-part case study created to assess a senior manager candidate ability to scope a data platform audit within a FinTech environment, analyse incident and control indicator data to identify control weaknesses and draft audit findings, and critically review an existing IT audit finding. The exercise is for a senior manager role to evaluate risk-based audit planning, technology risk and control knowledge, data analysis, report writing, stakeholder communication, and the ability to provide constructive guidance to junior team members.
