Our website and application are already developed. We need someone who can understand and work with our existing codebase rather than rebuild the application from scratch. ### Key Responsibilities 1. Develop and improve user-facing pages and screens. 2. Enhance search, sorting, filtering, and listing functionalities. 3. Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js. 4. Work with existing databases and improve database queries. 5. Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs. 6. Improve website performance, responsiveness, and UI/UX. 7. Fix bugs and optimize existing application functionality. 8. Ensure clean, scalable, and maintainable code. ### Required Skills - Strong experience in Node.js and React.js. - JavaScript and modern frontend development. - Backend development and REST API integration. - Database management (MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL). - Search and advanced filtering functionality. - Responsive UI/UX development. - Git and code management. - Experience working with existing projects. ### Preferred Candidate - 2–4 years of practical development experience. - Previous experience improving existing websites or applications. - Ability to independently understand existing source code. - Good communication and timely project delivery. - Available for ongoing freelance development work. ### Important We are NOT looking to develop a new website from scratch.
