Hospital Interior Tender Estimation

I am finalising a competitive tender for a commercial healthcare facility—a hospital—and need a precise interior cost estimate limited to the waiting areas and the main ground-floor lobby. All architectural drawings, reflected ceiling plans, finish schedules and MEP notes are ready to share in PDF and DWG formats. You will translate those documents into a clear, line-by-line Bill of Quantities, complete with material take-offs and current market rates. Accuracy is crucial because the numbers will be submitted directly to the client’s procurement team. Deliverables • Detailed BOQ broken down by trade (finishes, partitions, joinery, loose & fixed furniture, lighting, signage, prelims) • Spreadsheet with quantity calculations and unit-rate build-up (Excel, CostX or similar) • One-page executive summary highlighting total cost, exclusions and contingency assumptions • Clarification log for any RFIs raised during measurement Acceptance Criteria • All quantities tie back to the issued drawings and are cross-checked with a random 10 % sample • Material and labour rates referenced to verifiable regional data (please cite sources) • Final Excel file is unlocked, fully transparent and ready for my markup Experience with CostX, Bluebeam Revu or comparable take-off software is preferred, and a background in healthcare interiors will be a strong advantage.
