Point Cloud to AutoCAD Topographic Plans (1:250) — Long-Term Cooperation We are an Israeli surveying company looking for a CAD specialist for long-term cooperation on regular projects. The work involves creating topographic plans from registered/georeferenced point clouds. We provide all source data, so no field survey, scanning or site visits are required. Scope of work Work with point clouds in LAS / RCP / RCS / E57 or similar formats. Create topographic plans at 1:250 scale in AutoCAD. Draw visible topographic features such as buildings, curbs, roads, sidewalks, walls, fences, poles, manholes, trees and terrain elements. Use our AutoCAD template, layers, blocks and drawing standards. Work according to Israeli surveying/mapping standards and coordinate systems. Use elevations from the point cloud and create height information and contours where required. If some areas or objects are unclear in the point cloud, please mark them for review rather than making assumptions.

Requirements

Experience working with point clouds and AutoCAD. Experience creating topographic plans from point-cloud data is highly preferred. Ability to work with large point-cloud datasets. Ability to follow an existing layer and block structure. Good attention to detail and drawing accuracy. For clearly visible features, we generally expect the drawing to match the point cloud within approximately 2 cm where the quality of the source data allows it. Cooperation We are looking for someone interested in regular long-term work. Please include in your proposal: Examples of similar work, preferably topographic plans created from point clouds. Point-cloud formats and software you work with. Your hourly rate. Approximate price per hectare, if possible. Typical production speed for a 1:250 topographic plan. Confirmation that you are comfortable working with the customer’s layers and blocks.
