Ergonomic Button Shield STEP Design

I need a compact sturdy plastic button shield/cover that will sit on the top of my custom smart display and protect two tactile pushbuttons, blocking the user's view and access from the front of the device, and limited access form the rear for staff/admins. The style should be ergonomic, with a subtle finger-groove that guides the user’s touch and a form that blends smoothly into the existing enclosure. It also has to be strong and rugged enough to survive constant everyday use and possible drops. The part will be printed, so please model with common FDM/SLA tolerances in mind and keep wall thicknesses economical. I would like the final piece to bond to the display with adhesive—no screws or snap-fits—so reserve a clean rear surface for a thin VHB pad and make sure any edge fillets help it seat flush. Deliverables I expect: • Native STEP file ready for manufacture • Optional STL for quick test printing • A brief note on recommended materials, print orientation, and any critical tolerances If this quick project goes smoothly I have a pipeline of similar add-ons, enclosures, and accessories waiting for the right designer, so clear, thoughtful work here can turn into a long-term collaboration. Approximate measurements will be 3"W x 3/8" D and should measure 3/8"H at the rear an curve or slope downward to the front, allowing a finger to be inserted only from the rear of the button shield There should also be 3 hidden internal supports measuring 3/8"W X 3/8"D to secure the part to the device with one support placed at either end of the button shield, and one exactly in the middle.
