Squarespace redesign (TRPTK-style) + Square checkout + daily Excel sales report – music label

DESCRIPTION: I'm delivering a project for an independent music label and need one experienced developer to build it end to end. The client has been let down by a previous developer, so I'm hiring for quality and on-time delivery, not the lowest bid. Current site: https://www.gorgeoustiger.com (Squarespace) Reference layout to match: https://trptk.com SCOPE 1. Squarespace redesign (main part of the work) - Rebuild the homepage to match TRPTK's structure: large featured-release hero, "Latest releases" cover grid, featured artist block, newsletter strip, clean multi-column footer. - Reusable templates for a single release page and an artist page, so the client can add new albums/artists himself without a developer. - Fully responsive on mobile, tablet and desktop. - Fix: site title still says "Your Site Title", YouTube icon links to Squarespace's own channel. - Build on a duplicate site or hidden pages first; the live site must not break during the work. 2. Track previews - Cut real 10–15 second preview clips from the client's tracks (not full tracks with a timer) and embed them on release pages with a clean player. 3. Customer accounts - Squarespace built-in customer accounts, wired to the existing "Login Account" menu link. No custom password database. 4. Newsletter - The homepage newsletter block currently shows a "needs a storage option" error. Connect it to a proper list (Squarespace Email Campaigns or Mailchimp) and set up an automatic welcome email. 5. Square checkout + daily sales report - Squarespace cannot use Square as its online checkout, so "Buy" buttons must open Square's hosted checkout (Square Payment Links / Checkout API). - Set up the Square side so a webhook-based digital download delivery can be added later without rework (NOT part of this job). - Scheduled cloud job that pulls the previous day's sales from the Square API and emails an Excel (.xlsx) report to a configurable list of agency email addresses. Columns will be confirmed by the client. - Must run on a free tier (e.g. Google Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, GitHub Actions). Nothing that requires a computer left switched on. - Short screen-recorded handover video: how to add a new release, update previews, and change the report recipient list. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - All cloud and email accounts created under the CLIENT'S ownership, with credentials handed over at the end. - Clean, commented code for the report script. MILESTONES AND DEADLINES (hard deadlines) 1. TRPTK-style redesign + release/artist templates – Nov 1 2. Track previews – Nov 2 3. Accounts + newsletter list + welcome email – Nov 4 4. Square checkout + daily Excel report running on schedule + handover video – Nov 7 Each milestone is paid on approval. I review every milestone before it goes to the client.
