Windows Webcam Attendance System

I need a lightweight attendance application that runs on Windows and relies solely on an ordinary webcam. The program should open automatically to a clean, full-screen view, capture each person’s check-in/check-out with a time-stamp, and store the records locally so they can be exported to Excel or CSV at any time. Core requirements • Works with any plug-and-play webcam on Windows 10/11. • Fast face capture and instant confirmation on-screen that the entry was logged. • Simple database (SQLite or similar) that keeps daily logs and allows me to filter by name and date. • Admin panel or config file so I can add or deactivate user profiles without touching code. • Source code and step-by-step setup guide included in the final hand-over. Nice-to-have options (let me know if you can add them): basic face recognition for automatic name matching, QR backup scan, or a manual override button. I’m aiming for a solution that can be installed in a single office, is easy for non-technical staff to operate, and can scale up later if we move to multiple stations.
