Digitise Typed Manuscript to Word

I have a 50–100 page manuscript that was prepared on a typewriter and now exists only on paper. I need every page accurately transcribed into a single, clean Microsoft Word document. Faithfulness to the original text is critical, but I do not need you to replicate any layout quirks—plain paragraphs are fine and no special formatting is required beyond standard headings or page breaks you feel will improve readability. You can use whatever method suits you best—manual typing, OCR followed by careful proofreading, or a mix of both—as long as the final file is error-free and ready for me to edit in Word. I will supply high-resolution scans (or photos) of each page as soon as we get started, and I’d like the completed .docx returned in one deliverable. If you’re meticulous with spelling and punctuation and comfortable working from image files, this should be straightforward work.
