Full stack developer required to backup

I need an experienced iOS forensics and reverse-engineering specialist to recover data from an iPhone 14 Pro encrypted computer backup created on 18 June 2026. The original backup metadata was overwritten by a subsequent backup created on 25 June 2026. Approximately 170,849 original hash-named payload files (around 68.2 GB) remain, but the original per-file encryption-key records are not available in the surviving metadata. The original backup password is available. Multiple investigators have already conducted extensive forensic examinations. Their reports and available technical artefacts will be provided for review. Objective Develop and implement a technically viable approach to decrypt the surviving original payload files and recover the data from the 18 June 2026 backup. Required Work Review the existing forensic reports and artefacts before proposing a solution. Identify a specific technical approach that advances beyond the investigations already completed. Determine whether the surviving payload files can be decrypted or their original file-key mapping reconstructed using available evidence and a demonstrably different approach. Where feasible, demonstrate successful decryption and validation of at least one original payload file. If the initial proof succeeds, propose the next stage for recovering additional files or reconstructing a usable backup. Important Scope Restrictions Previous investigations have already covered backup metadata, SQLite databases, SSD free space, deleted-file remnants, pagefile, swapfile, shadow copies, and searches for original key material. Repeating these searches or performing another generic data-recovery scan is not required. Any proposed examination of previously investigated areas must have a specific, evidence-based technical rationale that goes beyond the completed work. A report summarizing existing findings, generic recovery-tool operation, or recovery of unrelated files will not satisfy the project objective. Required Experience Applicants must have relevant hands-on expertise in iOS encrypted backups, Apple backup encryption and key structures, SQLite forensic recovery, or reverse engineering of Apple backup formats. Proposal Requirements Please include: Relevant experience with similar technical recovery cases. The specific approach you propose beyond the work documented in the existing reports. The concrete deliverable for the initial milestone. The project will begin with a limited technical assessment based on the supplied reports and artefacts. Further implementation will be considered based on the proposed method and initial findings. The primary objective is actual decryption and data recovery—not another round of general searching.
