Business Development & Proposal Writing Consultant

I am looking for an experienced business development and proposal-writing professional to help me improve my approach to finding and pursuing suitable freelance software-development opportunities.

The role

is focused on market research, opportunity analysis, positioning, and proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

may include: - Researching the freelance software development market and identifying promising types of projects - Reviewing project requirements and determining whether they are a good match for my skills and experience - Helping prioritize opportunities based on skills, budget, project type, and client requirements - Writing and improving customized proposal drafts - Developing reusable proposal structures and templates - Improving my profile positioning and presentation - Suggesting bidding and client-communication strategies - Analyzing unsuccessful proposals and recommending improvements - Helping develop a consistent business-development process Preferred Candidate: - Experience with job boards or online business development - Strong written English - Excellent proposal-writing skills - Understanding of software development / IT projects - Ability to quickly understand technical job descriptions - Experience with lead qualification or sales is a plus This can become an ongoing collaboration if the initial work is successful.
