English (Singaporean Accent) 15 minute Voice Recording Project

We are looking for native Singapore speakers to participate in voice recording project for speech technology development. Participants will record natural answers in the English (Singaporean accent) language. The recordings will be used to develop and improve speech-generation and train voice models strictly within the scope described in the written consent agreement. Task Details You will record 3 audio responses, with each response lasting approximately 5 minutes. The total recording time will be around 15 minutes. For each recording, you may select one simple question or topic from a list of 10 and answer it naturally in your own words. Example topics: - What is your most memorable trip, and why? - What is your favourite food? - etc. You may choose any 3 questions from the provided list of 10. Important Requirements - You must be a native Singaporean speaker. - All answers must be recorded in pure English (Singaporean accent). - No professional recording equipment is required. You may use a mobile phone with good-quality headphones or earbuds. - Do not read from a script. - Record naturally and conversationally, as though you are talking to a friend. - Avoid a flat tone or book-reading style of delivery. - Each answer should be approximately 5 minutes long. - Record in a quiet environment without background noise, interruptions. - All 3 recordings must be recorded directly in WAV format. - You can download a "WAV audio recorder" from app store, if your phone doesn't have that format setting. - You must record only your own voice only. - Revisions may be requested if the recordings do not meet the quality requirements. Clear feedback will be provided. Consent requirements- Before beginning the task, every selected participant must review and sign our consent and Non Disclosure Agreement. The agreement clearly explains: - The purpose of collecting the recordings - The permitted use of the voice data and usage rights - Confidentiality requirements Participation is voluntary, and no recording work should begin until the participant has review and sign the agreement.
