Steel Beam Structural FEA Study

I need a full finite-element structural analysis carried out on a set of steel beams that form part of a larger frame. I will provide the beam geometry, connection details, load cases and boundary conditions; your task is to build an accurate model, run the simulations and translate the results into clear engineering conclusions. The objectives are straightforward: verify stresses, deflections and safety factors under the specified service loads, identify any areas approaching yield, and recommend stiffening or section changes if required. I am open to whichever mainstream solver you prefer—ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation, etc.—as long as the mesh is properly converged and the material model reflects standard structural-steel properties (E = 200 GPa, fy = 250 MPa unless otherwise noted). Deliverables • Native analysis file(s) with fully defined mesh and load steps • PDF report summarising methodology, boundary conditions, material data, convergence checks, result plots (von Mises stress, displacement) and brief recommendations • High-resolution images of critical stress and displacement contours for inclusion in a design package Acceptance criteria 1. Maximum stress and deflection values match the solver’s raw output and remain within Eurocode or AISC limits (I’ll confirm which code on award). 2. Mesh-independence demonstrated by at least one refinement study. 3. All files open without errors in the stated software version.
