Pilot Script Humor Polish

I have a completed half-hour pilot in standard screenplay format that now needs its final comedic shine. The structure, story beats, and characters are locked; what I’m after is a punch-up of the dialogue so every line lands with the sharp, witty snap the concept deserves. Think dramedy pacing with comedy moments that sparkle rather than feel overwritten. Your task is to comb through the script, tighten wording, heighten joke rhythm, and layer in clever turns of phrase while preserving each character’s voice and the existing scene flow. No major scene rewrites or structural shifts—just a focused polish on dialogue and humor to elevate timing, clarity, and laugh rate. I’ll provide the current draft as a Final Draft (.fdx) file, along with a notes page highlighting any spots that still feel flat. Please return: • A marked-up version showing tracked dialogue tweaks • A clean “ready-to-read” version for producers If you work in Final Draft, Fade In, or another industry-standard screenwriting tool, great—just keep the same formatting so the page count stays consistent. The script is roughly 32 pages, so a quick turnaround is possible. Looking forward to seeing how you can make these lines pop while keeping the heart of the dramedy intact.
