Paralegal

About the Role

Reporting to the General Counsel, you'll provide core paralegal support across contracts, legal research, and company secretarial matters — while driving AI and legal tech adoption across the team. This role is built for someone genuinely fluent in AI and legal tech, not just comfortable using it: you'll be the one embedding these tools into everyday legal workflows so the team drafts, reviews, and manages documentation faster and more accurately. You'll work closely with the General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, and Risk & Compliance Manager.

What You'll Do

Champion AI-enabled legal tools across the team — identify, trial, and roll out solutions that speed up drafting, research, and review Prepare and quality-check first drafts of engagement letters, NDAs, and standard contracts using AI tools, escalating anything non-standard Build and maintain an AI-tagged contract and precedent library Run AI-assisted legal and regulatory research, sense-checking outputs and summarising findings in plain language Own adoption of legal tech platforms (CLM, e-signature, matter management, AI drafting tools) as the team's go-to for troubleshooting Build lightweight automations and prompt templates to cut manual admin Maintain statutory registers, company secretarial records, and board/governance documentation Support client onboarding and audit/review documentation requests What You Bring Strong, demonstrable experience using AI and legal tech tools in a professional legal setting (AI drafting/review tools, legal research assistants, CLM or automation platforms) — this is a core, non-negotiable requirement, not an interest area A proven track record of driving AI or legal tech adoption within a legal or compliance team Confidence learning and rolling out new software fast, and comfortable training others on it Paralegal qualification (e.g. CILEX) or law degree/LPC, or equivalent experience 3–5 years' paralegal experience, ideally in professional services or fast-growth tech Sharp drafting, research, and attention-to-detail skills, with the judgement to catch when AI gets it wrong Highly organised and comfortable in a flat, collaborative team About Unity Advisory Built for the AI-enabled world, we run a lean, conflict-free, client-centric model that embeds AI across all workstreams.
