RTW FREELANCE FASHION DESIGNER (Mission-Based)

ANINE BING is seeking an RTW Freelance Fashion Designer for a mission-based engagement supporting ready-to-wear collection development, in coordination with our Paris-based design team. This mission covers design contribution across our RTW offer, with a priority focus on flou and tailoring , for designers who bring a versatile, hands-on skillset and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a fashion design studio. Mission Scope: Contribute to design and development across RTW categories, with a priority focus on flou and tailoring (jersey exposure a plus), aligned with agreed collection deliverables. Produce technical drawings and design packs on Illustrator, delivered per the agreed milestones. Contribute to silhouette refinement based on fitting feedback, incorporating revisions into technical drawings. Contribute to color, fabric and trim research to support collection deliverables. Ensure deliverables reflect brand design intent, for handoff to Product Development and Production. Profile: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a fashion design studio, ideally within a contemporary or premium ready-to-wear brand. Strong design skillset in flou and tailoring ; jersey experience a plus. Expert-level command of Illustrator and Photoshop is mandatory , with solid technical drawing and garment construction knowledge. Autonomous and able to manage deliverables independently against a defined scope and timeline. Fluent English required; French professional proficiency preferred. Mission Terms Independent contractor status (freelance / auto-entrepreneur or registered company); this is a service engagement, not an employment position. Substantial time commitment expected given the volume of deliverables across the collection cycle; scope, milestones and workload are defined with the Senior Designer, with day-to-day work organization managed by the contractor. Occasional on-site presence in Paris may be required for fittings; otherwise remote. A portfolio is required to apply. Applications submitted without a portfolio cannot be considered.
