# RF Energy Harvesting System for IoT Applications – Design & Simulation **Project Description** I am looking for an experienced RF/Microwave Engineer or Electronics Engineer to complete a university project titled **“RF Energy Harvesting System for IoT Applications.”** The project focuses on designing a complete RF energy harvesting system operating at **2.45 GHz (ISM band)**. **Required Work:** 1. **Antenna Design:** Design and simulate a suitable receiving antenna using CST or an equivalent electromagnetic simulation tool. 2. **Impedance Matching:** Design and optimize the matching network between the antenna and rectifier. 3. **RF-to-DC Rectifier:** Design and simulate a rectifier circuit using suitable components, such as Schottky diodes. 4. **Filtering and Energy Storage:** Design the DC filtering and energy storage circuits. 5. **Performance Analysis:** Evaluate output DC voltage, output power, conversion efficiency, and relevant simulation results. 6. **PCB Design:** Prepare PCB layouts if required. 7. **IoT Integration:** If included in the agreed scope, connect the system to a low-power IoT sensor or controller. 8. **Documentation:** Provide the complete technical report, circuit schematics, simulation files, plots, calculations, and presentation materials. **Preferred Skills:** - RF and Microwave Engineering - CST Studio Suite, HFSS, ADS, or equivalent tools - Antenna Design and Simulation - Rectenna and RF Energy Harvesting - RF-to-DC Conversion and Impedance Matching - Electronics Circuit and PCB Design **Please Include in Your Proposal:** - Relevant previous projects, especially RF energy harvesting or rectenna projects. - The software and tools you will use. - A clear breakdown of deliverables. - Your total fixed price and estimated delivery time. - Whether hardware fabrication and practical testing are included or offered separately. **Important:** Please specify exactly which parts you can complete.
