Job Title: Remote Computer Host / Device Manager (No Technical Skills Required) Job Description We are an international company with a fully remote engineering team working from different locations around the world. For certain B2B projects, our clients provide dedicated computers to meet their security requirements. We are looking for a reliable freelancer who can receive and safely keep a company-provided computer at their home, ensuring it stays powered on and connected to the internet so our engineers can access it remotely. This is a simple, non-technical role. No IT experience or advanced technical skills are required.

Responsibilities

Receive a computer and related equipment shipped to your home. - Keep the computer in a safe, clean, and secure location. - Keep the computer plugged in, powered on, and connected to a stable internet connection as instructed. - Ensure the computer is not accidentally turned off or disconnected. - Perform simple checks to confirm that the computer is running. - Notify our team if there is a power outage, internet issue, or hardware problem. - Follow our instructions for basic tasks, such as restarting the computer when authorized. - Keep the equipment secure and do not allow unauthorized people to access or use it. - Return or ship the equipment when requested, with shipping arrangements coordinated by our company.

Requirements

A reliable home environment with stable electricity and internet access. - A safe place to store and operate the computer. - Reliability, responsibility, and good communication. - Ability to follow simple written instructions. - Willingness to keep the computer available for authorized remote access. - No programming, IT, or professional technical experience is required. Work Arrangement - Location: Remote — applicants from different countries are welcome, subject to shipping and equipment requirements. - Workload: Minimal ongoing involvement, mainly keeping the computer connected and checking its status. - Duration: Potentially long-term, depending on project needs. - Payment: Fixed monthly payment or another agreed arrangement. - Equipment: Provided by our client or company. The freelancer is not required to purchase a computer. Important Security Note The computer is provided for company business only. The freelancer must not use it for personal activities, access company data, install unauthorized software, or change security settings. All remote access and device-management instructions will be provided by our team.
