Tokyo Sales Meeting Interpreter

I will be in Tokyo shortly for a series of face-to-face sales meetings with prospective Japanese clients and need a native Japanese speaker who communicates confidently in English to sit beside me throughout each session. Your main task is real-time, in-person interpretation so that every point I make lands clearly and any questions or objections from the client are relayed back to me just as accurately. The focus is verbal conversation; slides and paperwork are already prepared, so no heavy document translation is required. However, I may ask for quick wording tweaks in short follow-up emails or messages, as well as light guidance on local business etiquette to keep the conversations flowing smoothly. What success looks like: • Fluent, natural two-way interpretation during every meeting • Smooth general communication before, during, and after the sessions (greetings, small talk, scheduling) • A brief recap in English of key action items once each meeting wraps up You should already be based in Tokyo or able to reach the venues easily, feel comfortable in a sales environment, and be punctual and professional.
