Property Ownership Research – Australian Properties

We are looking for an experienced Australian property researcher who **already has legitimate access to RP Data / CoreLogic** and can complete property ownership research for a supplied list of properties. This is an **urgent project** and we are looking for someone who can commence immediately. ## Scope of Work We will provide an Excel spreadsheet containing 50 property addresses and/or identifying information. For each property, you will research and enter into the spreadsheet: - Correct property address as recorded in RP Data - Property owner / registered proprietor name(s) - Ownership entity where applicable (company, trust, individual, etc.) - Owned since date - Any owner contact details legitimately available through your authorised data sources - Any relevant notes required to explain how the property was identified ## IMPORTANT – Address Matching Requires Judgment This is not simply a copy-and-paste address lookup. The address we provide may **not exactly match the address recorded in RP Data**. This is particularly common with: - Large commercial properties - Corner sites - Properties with frontage to multiple streets - Multiple lots forming one property - Shopping centres or other large sites - Properties where the mailbox, entrance or advertised street address differs from the legal/recorded address - Properties with multiple street numbers - Sites where RP Data records an adjoining street rather than the commonly used address You must be capable of independently resolving these discrepancies. Where an exact address search does not produce a logical result, you are expected to investigate using available information such as **RP Data mapping, cadastral/lot information, neighbouring properties, maps, street imagery and other appropriate sources** to identify the correct parcel/property. **Do not simply mark a property "not found" because the supplied address does not produce an exact RP Data match.** The successful freelancer needs enough Australian property research experience to work through these issues independently without repeatedly stopping the project to ask us which property is correct. Where genuine uncertainty remains after reasonable investigation, record the possible match and clearly explain the issue in the Notes column so we can review it. ## Requirements You must: - Already have your **own legitimate RP Data / CoreLogic access** - Have experience researching Australian property ownership - Be comfortable identifying properties where street addresses and database addresses do not match - Have strong attention to detail - Be able to work independently and make sensible research decisions - Be proficient with Excel - Be available to start immediately - Be able to turn the work around as quickly as possible Accuracy is more important than simply processing addresses quickly. ## Application Please include: 1.
