I’m ready to wrap roughly 60-80 metres of weather-rated LED strip beneath the roof eaves of my home and need a licensed electrician to partner with me on the physical install. All strips, low-voltage drivers, aluminium channels, diffusers, mounting clips and a suitable weatherproof junction box are already on-site; what’s missing is an expert hand to run the cable, make clean, code-compliant terminations and leave everything looking seamless. The plan is simple: fix the strips tight under the eaves, link each run back to a single circuit, then tie that circuit directly into the existing household wiring via the outdoor breaker panel. No temporary plugs—this is a hard-wired setup. You’ll need to: • Mount and align the LED channels so the light line stays perfectly straight around corners. • Solder or crimp waterproof joins between strip sections and to the DC runs. • Route, secure and conceal the low-voltage cabling up to the driver location. • Make the final 240 V connection in accordance with current electrical codes, install the inline switch I provide, and test the full run for even brightness and flicker-free operation. I’ll be on site to assist with ladder work and hand tools; you bring your licensing, know-how and any specialised equipment you prefer (fish tape, tester, extra heat-shrink, etc.). When we’re done, every LED should sit flush, all cabling must be out of sight, and the system has to power on from the wall switch without tripping breakers. If you’ve tackled long-run exterior strips before and can schedule the job within the next week, let’s lock in a date and light the place up.
