Colonial Home Plan Design

I’m ready to move forward with a single-story, Colonial-style residence that feels timeless yet efficient. The finished design should fit comfortably between 1,500 – 2,000 sq ft and include three well-proportioned bedrooms. Here’s the vision: an inviting façade with the balanced symmetry typical of Colonial architecture, a practical floor plan that keeps circulation simple, and interior spaces that flow easily from a central foyer into living, dining, and kitchen areas. I’d like to see thoughtful storage built in, good access to natural light, and a logical relationship between the indoor living core and a rear patio or deck. To keep the project moving smoothly, please provide: • Scaled floor plan(s) showing room dimensions, wall thicknesses, window and door placements • Front, side, and rear elevations capturing the Colonial detailing • A roof plan and at least one building section for clarity on heights and roof pitches • Final files in PDF for review plus an editable CAD format (DWG or equivalent) for my local engineer If you prefer using Revit, AutoCAD, Archicad, or another platform, just let me know—interoperability is important so I can pass the package straight to permitting when we’re done. I’ll review an initial concept, give consolidated feedback once, and then look for a polished set ready for structural notes.
