I'm seeking an expert to help resolve distortion issues in my home recording studio for recording audiobooks. I'm currently using Reaper, a Shure SM58 mic, a Scarlett Focusrite 2i2, into a Dell desktop computer (Windows 11). When I record spoken audio, there's a distortion in the rendered file (like a tinny shadow on the voice)--heard mostly when listening on an iphone or ipad. Key Requirements: - Identify and eliminate the distortion - Answer other questions about recording -Able to travel to Palatine, IL Ideal Skills: - Experience with home studio setups, Reaper, microphones, and audio interfaces - Strong troubleshooting skills - Background in audio engineering or audiobook production
