Is this your business?US$ 700 – US$ 800 per project
BACK-OFFICE IT ADMINISTRATOR — NETWORKS, PROJECTS & AUTOMATION FIXED MONTHLY SALARY — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING US$700 per month for the first 60 calendar days of probation, then US$800 per month from day 61. These are fixed, non-negotiable monthly salary amounts. This is NOT an hourly position; hourly rates and hourly proposals will not be considered. Fully remote, full-time, long-term: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time (New York local time), with a one-hour break, for 40 working hours per week. Applicants must follow New York's daylight-saving changes. Immediate start required. State your exact earliest start date, notice period and any other work commitments. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE — ALL FOUR ARE REQUIRED 1. NETWORK SYSTEMS: Real work experience with physical network infrastructure, switches, wireless access points, IP networking and basic VLAN/PoE concepts. You must understand network fundamentals, including the purpose of the OSI model and the difference between copper Ethernet cabling and fiber-optic cabling. 2. LOW-VOLTAGE SYSTEMS: Real work experience with structured cabling and low-voltage/network projects. You must understand Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A, single-mode versus multimode fiber, racks, MDFs/IDFs, patch panels, pathways, labeling and the test/closeout evidence an installation requires. Relevant CCTV, access-control and telecom experience is welcome. 3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: You must have personally managed or coordinated network/low-voltage projects, including scope, schedules, materials, vendors, field technicians, risks, costs and closeout. Software-project management alone does not meet this requirement. 4. SCRIPTING & WORKFLOW AUTOMATION: You must have personally built, debugged and maintained useful scripts or business-system automations. Explain the systems involved, what you wrote, how you tested the result, and how failures or duplicate transactions are handled. PowerShell, Microsoft Graph/APIs, Python and Power Automate are relevant tools; a course or a list of software names is not enough. Please do not apply if you lack any of these four areas. General administration, virtual-assistant work, bookkeeping, software development, drafting or help-desk support alone is not sufficient. Certifications and willingness to learn do not replace relevant work experience. You should be ready to explain what you personally did on an actual project, without sharing confidential client information.
TNI delivers IT infrastructure, networking, structured cabling and low-voltage projects for U.S. commercial and government customers. You will coordinate the work from customer request and technical planning through procurement, field execution, closeout, invoicing and reconciliation. This requires practical technical judgment and independent follow-through with customers, technicians, suppliers and management. WHAT YOU WILL OWN • Review SOWs, purchase orders, floor plans, network/low-voltage drawings, rack elevations and site-survey records. Identify missing or conflicting requirements and obtain clarification. • Prepare and check drawing-based material takeoffs and bills of materials. Verify quantities, exact part numbers, compatibility and installation materials; distinguish measured quantities from written callouts and assumptions. • Source equipment, compare suppliers, prices, availability, alternatives, shipping and lead times; prepare POs and track deliveries against the correct project/site. • Plan site schedules, dependencies, access, technician/subcontractor assignments and progress. Coordinate travel, hotels, rental vehicles, lifts, tools and materials. Escalate delays and technical risks early. • Review field reports, photos, labels, copper/fiber test results, serial numbers, redlines, timesheets, expenses, punch lists and required customer acceptance. Follow up on missing or incorrect evidence before closeout. • Prepare and reconcile vendor invoices, POs, delivery records, receipts, card transactions and project expenses. Support AP/AR, customer invoice packages, collections and job costing; investigate estimated-versus-actual cost and revenue discrepancies. • Configure and troubleshoot switches, VLANs, PoE and network connectivity within approved change controls; back up configurations, test changes and maintain a clear recovery procedure. • Work with the ISO manager to automate controlled-document approvals, reminders, evidence collection and routine tracking using SharePoint/Microsoft 365 or the existing approved systems. Keep access, audit history, failure alerts and recovery clear; the ISO manager owns QMS and audit decisions. • Support ERP and warehouse/inventory operations: receiving, serial/asset tracking, location and job allocation, transfers, dispatch, returns and stock reconciliation. Learn the existing warehouse/customer processes and improve accurate data flow without bypassing approvals. Direct ERP or warehouse-system experience is highly desired; identify any area you would need to learn. • Maintain the scripts, integrations, operating notes and handover needed to keep those workflows reliable. Technical acceptance, financial approval and payment authorization remain with their designated owners. OTHER REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND WORKING CONDITIONS • Practical bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoice/PO matching, reconciliation and project/job costing using QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software. Cost estimating alone is not enough. • Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 skills: lookups, SUMIFS, tables, filtering, validation, PivotTables, project trackers and financial reconciliation. • Ability to read technical drawings, build/check a BOM and communicate accurately with field teams and engineers. You do not need to be a senior network-design engineer. • Excellent spoken and written English and professional communication with U.S. customers, vendors and field personnel. • Independent ownership, reliable follow-up and accurate documentation.
