I am seeking a New York State licensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferably a civil or environmental engineer, with experience preparing and obtaining Board of Health Approval (BOHA) for vacant residential property in Dutchess County, New York. The property is a vacant residential parcel located in the Town of Dover, Dutchess County, measuring approximately 100 feet by 200 feet. I have a recent licensed land survey available for review and would like to determine the parcel’s suitability for residential development and obtain the necessary Dutchess County Board of Health approval for a proposed residential septic system and water well. The engineer should have direct experience working with Dutchess County Environmental Health Services and be familiar with the County’s requirements for soil and percolation testing, septic system design, proposed well location and required setbacks, site plans, BOHA applications, and County submission and review procedures.
