About the job

Nevada-licensed structural or civil PE needed to design and stamp ONE wall for a City of Reno, NV residential building permit. Remote — I'll send everything digitally. The wall: freestanding load-bearing CMU wall (8"x8"x16" block, ~385 sq ft, stone veneer) that supports the rear beam of a Pergolux 20'x13' prefab shade structure, carrying the back of the structure in place of rear posts. Not a retaining wall (no soil behind it). Design for roof gravity load, wind uplift and lateral/seismic transferred from the structure, out-of-plane wind on the wall, and the footing. I'll provide: a rough drawing/sketch of the wall and pergola layout (already have it, will upload), the Pergolux model and spec sheet, dimensions, and site photos. Jurisdiction: City of Reno — 2024 IBC/IRC, local snow/wind loads. Deliverable: NV-stamped calculations and details, permit-ready for City of Reno residential submittal. In your bid, please include: (1) your active Nevada PE license number, (2) confirmation the stamp is your own and you're in responsible charge of the design, (3) fixed fee and turnaround
