Resume Mechatronics Prototype Integration

I have an existing advanced mechatronics prototype that was paused during development. I am looking for a senior hands-on engineer to review the current work, complete system integration, troubleshoot remaining issues, and bring the prototype to a stable, test-ready stage. The project combines: • Electromechanical components • High-current power electronics • STM32-based embedded control • Closed-loop/PID control • Multiple sensors • Battery-powered systems • Mechanical structure and custom hardware The main work includes: • Reviewing the existing design and implementation • Integrating electronics, firmware, sensors and mechanical systems • Debugging STM32 firmware and control loops • Tuning PID and system response • Troubleshooting power, thermal, noise and stability issues • Making hardware or mechanical modifications where required • Performing controlled load and functionality testing • Improving reliability and safety protections • Updating relevant technical documentation I am looking for someone who can handle most of the remaining work independently and is comfortable working directly with physical hardware, test equipment, firmware and mechanical assemblies. Strong experience required in mechatronics, power electronics, embedded systems, control systems and hands-on prototype development. Relevant experience with advanced electromechanical systems, motion control, high-power systems, robotics or similar prototype development is highly preferred.
