About the job

I have a PDF concept design for a new commercial building and now need it translated into a full set of structural engineering drawings ready for construction issue. Every element must comply with AS 3600 for concrete, AS 4100 for steel, and AS 1170 for structural design actions. Wherever the concept shows an Australian steel grade, we may need it converted to the correct Chinese equivalent and annotate both grades on the drawings. The PDF includes plans, elevations, and key sections; you will be expected to extract all member sizes, connection details, and load paths, then develop them into clean, fully dimensioned CAD drawings (DWG and PDF). A concise calculation package that demonstrates code compliance should accompany the drawings. (if required, Australian Engineer sign off can be done by others) To make sure the work hits the mark, here is how I will review it: • Drawings match the concept layout and show every primary and secondary structural member. • All concrete and steel elements are checked against the cited AS codes, with design actions clearly documented. • Australian-to-Chinese steel grade conversions are correct and clearly noted. • Files open error-free in AutoCAD 2020 or later. Full Material Take Off lists are provided in excel format When you reply, focus on the relevant commercial-building projects you have already engineered under these codes so I can see your experience aligns with this brief.
