Children’s Book Cartoon Illustrations

I’m creating a new children’s book and need lively, cartoonish illustrations that will capture a young reader’s imagination. The story is fully written, so I’ll share the manuscript and page-by-page art notes once we start. Scope • Full-color, cartoon-style artwork for each page (approximately 20 spreads, plus front and back covers). • Consistent characters and backgrounds that reflect the playful tone of the story. • Layered source files (PSD or Procreate) so I can adjust text placement if needed. • Two rounds of revisions to fine-tune colors, expressions, and layout. What I’m looking for • A whimsical, expressive style—bright colors, clear emotions, simple shapes. • Experience illustrating for children’s literature or similar projects. • Good communication and ability to meet agreed milestones.
