Laravel POS System Development

I’m ready to launch a web-based cashier (POS) system and have decided to build it fully in Laravel. The goal is a lightweight, secure application I can deploy on a standard LAMP stack and access from any browser. Core scope • Product and category management with barcode support • Fast sales screen that records transactions, applies discounts, and prints or emails receipts • Basic inventory tracking that updates stock in real time after each sale • User roles (admin, cashier) with permission control • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports downloadable as PDF or CSV What I’ll provide • VPS or shared hosting with PHP 8.x, MySQL, and SSH access • Any front-end theme you recommend, or you may suggest one What I expect back • Clean, well-commented Laravel code following PSR-12 • Migration and seed files so I can recreate the database quickly • A short README explaining local setup, deployment, and how to add new modules • Brief hand-off call or screen-share to walk through key parts of the code If you’ve built something similar—or can share a small demo highlighting your Laravel expertise—let me know.
