French-Speaking ESG & Sustainability Course Developer / Technical Reviewer / Localisation Specialist Fixed Project Fee: USD 1,000 IBOSD – UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced French-speaking ESG & Sustainability professional to support the technical development, review, enhancement and French localisation of an international professional training programme: IBOSD Skill Certificate in ESG & Sustainability – 40 Learning Hours This is not a course-development-from-scratch assignment and not a translation-from-scratch assignment. IBOSD will provide: A substantially developed English learner manual Existing Learning Outcomes Case studies and workplace applications ESG templates, tools and checklists Practical activities and assessment-related materials Existing technical references/source information An AI-generated French version for professional correction and localisation The selected professional will act as a combined ESG Course Developer / Technical Reviewer / French Localisation Specialist. The English programme is approximately 75,000 words, together with supporting templates, checklists, tables and related materials. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. ESG Technical Review Review the English programme for technical accuracy, depth, currency and professional relevance. The programme covers areas including: ESG fundamentals Stakeholder engagement Materiality and double materiality ESG governance, ethics and accountability GHG accounting Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions Carbon management Environmental sustainability Human rights and responsible value chains Sustainability reporting ESG strategy and risk ESG objectives, targets and KPIs Transition planning ESG data quality Sustainability assurance readiness Greenwashing and sustainability claims ESG leadership and professional communication 2. International Framework Verification Review important technical content against relevant recognised frameworks and authoritative guidance, including where applicable: GRI Standards IFRS S1 IFRS S2 ESRS / CSRD GHG Protocol Relevant ISO standards Sustainability assurance requirements/guidance Other relevant international ESG and sustainability guidance The specialist should identify outdated, inaccurate or potentially misleading technical statements and make appropriate corrections. 3. Course Development & Technical Enhancement The selected professional will not simply submit comments. Where necessary, the specialist will revise and strengthen the actual programme content, including: Correcting technical inaccuracies Strengthening technically weak explanations Improving professional depth Correcting inconsistent ESG terminology Updating outdated information Improving workplace applicability Removing unnecessary repetition Strengthening case studies and examples Improving practical activities where necessary Reviewing templates and professional tools Identifying significant gaps requiring correction The objective is to produce a technically strong programme capable of developing practical ESG competencies. 4. Learning Outcome & Assessment Alignment Review the relationship between: Learning Outcomes → Content → Applied Skills → Activities → Assessment The specialist should evaluate: Whether each Learning Outcome is adequately covered Whether content depth supports the intended outcome Bloom's Taxonomy alignment Practical skill development Workplace applicability Assessment alignment Repetition and gaps Material deficiencies should be corrected or clearly identified. 5. FRENCH TECHNICAL LOCALISATION IBOSD will provide an AI-generated French translation of the programme. The selected specialist is not required to translate approximately 75,000 words manually from scratch. The responsibility is to professionally review and localise the AI-generated French version against the approved English master. This includes: Comparing French content against the English source Correcting mistranslations Correcting omissions or changes in technical meaning Correcting French grammar, spelling and syntax Removing unnatural AI-generated language Rewriting literal English-to-French constructions Ensuring professional, natural French Maintaining technical accuracy Ensuring terminology consistency throughout the programme Checking Learning Outcomes Checking case studies and activities Checking templates and checklists Checking tables and technical instructions Checking assessment-related wording The final French version should read as professional French training material, not as machine-translated content. 6. ESG TERMINOLOGY IN FRENCH The specialist should ensure appropriate professional French terminology for concepts including: ESG Sustainability GHG accounting Carbon footprint Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions Materiality Double materiality ESG governance Climate-related risks and opportunities Human-rights due diligence Sustainability reporting Transition planning Assurance Greenwashing Where recognised or authoritative French terminology exists for international standards and frameworks, it should be used appropriately. 7. SOURCE, SIMILARITY & QUALITY REVIEW The specialist should also: Identify important outdated references Flag unsupported significant technical statements Identify obvious attribution issues Identify substantial repetition Flag obvious potential similarity/copyright concerns Maintain consistent technical terminology Ensure consistency between the English master and final French version A full legal copyright opinion is not required.
