Sports Fan Community Research and Outreach

We are looking for a reliable freelancer to assist with a short-term sports fan community research and outreach project for a newly launched sports website. The work involves researching established sports fan websites, forums, fan clubs and online communities, identifying the appropriate owner, administrator, moderator or contact person, and assisting with direct outreach to introduce our new site. We already have detailed instructions, research sources and a substantial initial contact list to help you get started.

Responsibilities

include researching and expanding our existing list, locating contact names and email addresses, contacting community leaders using our approved approach, and accurately tracking contacts, responses and follow-ups. This is not a mass-spamming project. We want legitimate, targeted outreach to established sports fan communities. Must have excellent internet research and communication skills and be dependable, organized and able to work independently. Sports knowledge is a plus.
