Booking.com API Integration for Hotel Price Comparison

Description: We are a travel agency looking to enhance our hotel search platform by integrating the Booking.com Demand API. Our goal is to display comparative pricing directly on our site, similar to Kayak, while continuing with our existing booking workflow through WhatsApp. Scope of Work: 1. Integration Requirements: - Search by hotel name, city, or area with check-in/check-out dates and number of guests/rooms. - Fetch and display: room type, price, meal plan (Room Only, B&B, Half Board, All Inclusive) from Booking.com alongside our supplier rates. - Implement display logic: - If our price ≤ Booking.com → users proceed with our WhatsApp booking flow. - If Booking.com is cheaper → show a button that redirects via an affiliate link (CJ account). - Basic caching for API requests and clear error handling: If the Booking API fails, fallback directly to displaying only our default prices. 2. Getting Access to Booking.com’s Demand API: - Complete technical requirements and applications submission for Demand API access under our business name. - Help resolve CJ affiliate account setup issue: “The superuser on this account must complete the onboarding checklist and activate.” (We’re currently stuck here.) 3. Deliverables: - Active CJ / Booking.com partnership applications prepared and submitted successfully under our company account. - Fully functioning integration to overlay Booking.com prices onto our existing hotel search page (Cloudflare + D1). - Short documentation explaining how keys are configured and links updated. Out of Scope: - Creating bookings via the Booking API or integrating payments into the website.
